Pastor Toyin (Toyin) is a trained Process Engineer with vast sales, Business development and Management experience across the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Energy Industry. She is a graduate of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State where she graduated in 2002 with a BSC honours in Chemical Engineering. She is an alumnus of the prestigious ExxonMobil scholarship which she enjoyed throughout her undergraduate days in the University of Lagos.
She also has a Masters Degree in Process Engineering (distinction) from the University of Lagos, Akoka (obtained in 2010) and an MBA from the Business School Netherlands (obtained in 2020).
She started her career as a management consultant in Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in 2003 where she worked on various strategy and business repositioning projects with various clients across the energy, oil & gas and manufacturing industries in Nigeria. She left Accenture in 2010 as a senior strategy consultant to join Siemens Nigeria Limited as the head of Business Development and subsequently got an expanded role as the regional sales manager for the power generation business.
Currently, Toyin is a regional sales executive with General Electric, leading sales and business development efforts on power generation projects across the Sub-Saharan region.
With about 18 years of professional working experience spanning Business Strategy Consulting, Business Development, Project Management and Process Re-engineering, Toyin has been able to carve a niche for herself as a business and thought leader in the dynamic energy landscape applying across the SSA region. She has won various prizes and recognitions over the course of her academic and professional journey. She has also undergone several Executive Management Development programmes and trainings within and outside the country.
Toyin gave her life to Christ in October 1993 as a teenager and since then has been growing progressively in the Lord, taking on increasing leadership responsibilities in the church. She joined the Foursquare Gospel Church in 1995 and, to the glory of God, has been able to grow deeper in relationship and devotion to God, with the balanced Foursquare gospel thorough discipleship and mentoring. Since joining the church, she has served and continue to serve in various capacities in the teens and youth ministry, Sunday school, House fellowship, Music, Family and Marriage counselling, Evangelism and Follow-up Ministry.
Toyin is very passionate about inspiring and mentoring young ladies on sexual purity, chastity, personal development and career excellence. She is happily married to Pastor Olatunji Abegunde, and they together superintend the Foursquare Gospel Church, Magboro Zone in Ogun State, Nigeria. Their marriage is blessed with three beautiful and godly children.
